Author of two print books and two eBooks (50 Ways To Grieve Your Lover; Me Time and To ePublish or not to ePublish), Glennys began her writing career by chance in the 1990s whilst working as Promotions Officer for the Australian Red Cross Society (WA).

In her twenties she was responsible for writing, editing and publishing the ARCS (WA) Adult and Youth Magazines for three years. At the time the ARCS had an internal printing department and hence she was able to gain some insight into printing. Whilst at ARCS her love of research and writing grew and as a result she published SEF, a booklet containing Speakers, Excursions and Fund Raising ideas.
This was followed by over 20 years in the corporate world where she produced thousands of commercial reports on a diverse range of topics. During this time she also produced two information directories for the Department of Justice and academic papers.
Surprisingly her first piece of fiction won the Stirling Literary Award - Adult Section, and later that year she was invited to apply for the Emerging Writers Panel (Victoria).
Glennys has since contributed articles and cartoons to a number of magazines and websites. An example of her travel writing can be found at www.theweeklyreview.com.au/article-display/Byron-Bay/4766.
An example of business writing can be found in the Australian Market & Social Research Society magazine Research News, February 2013 edition entitled Focus group moderation, now with added Gruen Effect. http://www.amsrs.com.au/researchnews
Her blog www.theponderroom.com had readers from over 20 countries within the first six months and this has increased to over 50 countries.
She is currently the Professional Development Coordinator of the Australian Society of Authors WA (ASA). She is also a member of the Federation of Writers WA (FAWWA), and Australian Cartoonists Association.
